Brisbane Story Bridge

Story Bridge is Brisbane’s most famous bridge. It was built on June 6, 1940. The bridge is 777 meters long and is the longest cantilever bridge in Australia, allowing vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians to pass through. The Story Bridge was inscribed on the Queensland Heritage List in 1992. It is one of two handcrafted bridges in the world. 96% of the building materials are sourced from Australia.
